''Hibernian's Paul Heffernan returns from a thigh injury for Thursday's Edinburgh derby against Hearts. ''

This would be a FANTASTIC boost! He loves a goal against Hearts! :tbgwa:

Very good news!

He'll most likely be on the bench though.

Ye I agree... Probs start with Collins and Cummings up top!

You would hope so as nobody deserves to be dropped from the current team.

Don't change a winning team unless you have to

I think Cummings has looked lively and potentially could turn out to be a player but he's still very raw, for the time being I think he'll be better suited starting on the bench so I wouldn't have any issues with him being dropped.

Agree plus Heff is not match fit so wouldn't risk him in derby with tackles going in thick and fast good to bring him on for last 20 minutes and he might bag a goal or two with recent service getting into box

If it's still 0-0 or we are losing at halftime then bring him on.

IMO if Heff is physically fit and Butcher deems him sharp enough then he has to start ahead of Cummings.

Happy to be proved wrong when Cummings scores twice in the first ten mins.

Cummings looks like he is told to give his all for 60 mins then a change so a great option to have on the bench

Will be great to have him back - can see him coming off the bench tomorrow.

Cummings does noticeably tire but I think it's just to do with him getting up to speed with professional football. To go from playing for Hutchie Vale to the Spl in the space of 6 or 7 months is a lot for his body to get used to.

I think he will start again tomorrow. Be good to have Heff back in the squad though.

Heard today that contrary to reports of no fee, Hibs paid Killie £180k for the Heff.

I'd start with Cummings as he will be desperate to score against the ****bags who binned him.

Think it may happen as we'll and hoping it is in the first 5 mins !!

If Hefferman was fully fit I would start with him, but I can't see it so I would go with Cummings and Heff on the bench:thumbsup:

Same team for me but will trust Butcher with this. I hope Cummings starts cos he's got a bit of pace about him.
