Can anyone remember last time we started 3 games on the bounce with same team?

I always think that when your first 11 is obvious and picking its self then you are no far off good times

For the first time in a long time today, I felt like I was watching a team that had desire, a team that wanted it (whatever "it" is). I'm amazed by the fitness levels shown by the players now compared to pre-Butcher days. We look as if we have done substantial work in training and that work is now coming to fruition. I still feel that we need a few additions in January, but I'm satisfied tonight.

Special mention goes to Lewis and Hanlon today, both we're superb.

A more balanced team with most players playing in their natural position. Forster isn't a natural right back but it's certainly not the same as playing Stevenson there.

He's not done anything that is rocket science. He's not trying to accommodate all the central midfielders we have on our books and I think that makes a difference.

Although we've been solid since Butcher came in we went up a level today. I'm really looking forward to seeing who comes and goes in January.
