Forster marked him out the game first half but he looked dangerous when he was given more of a free role in the second. I remember thinking he looked a decent player when he came on against us last season.

I thought the number 28 Slater in the middle of the park looked a brilliant player aswell. Good on the ball and only 19. Good for Scottish football to see a lot of youngsters breaking through. Hopefully they hang around for a bit and develop with regular first team football rather than taking the money and going to reserve teams down south.

I've been impressed with Messy (Johnstone) since he came in to the side was rated by some as similar to Kennnedy who went to Everton.

Not seen much of Slater cos missed last 3 home games, but will get to both next week!

Fair play to a loyal Killie support making the long trip through (always seemed to take a decent number iirc over the years) and stayed more or less to a man until the end. Looked lively in parts and were still in it until the second IMO.
