Just caught a glimpse of ( I assume) the writing above the tunnel at Tynie... "Blood doesn't show on a maroon jersey."
What the **** is that meant to mean ?
It's not motivational or inspirational at all.
It's just a fact - kind of.
Be as well saying "water the grass and it will grow" in fact , that's quite a good one.
But blood not showing ?
Are they saying they can bleed for their team , but no-one will know ?
You can wound them , and it doesnt show ?
That's going to annoy me all day now.

Thought it was "there's light at the end of this one..." I think it was 'light'

Just a good excuse they use for saving money on washing powder. They can't be wasting money on laundry.

Surely a tunnel motto for them should read "Go Back, it's scary out there, turn around, another humping awaits you"

I assume it's a reference to the role of HMFC on the poppy fields of Flanders.
