Steve Marsella isn't running up huge mileage in his car simply for a jolly. He will be identifying players in the mould that Terry Butcher desires and posses the attributes that are lacking in our present squad. I think we'd have to spend too much to get McKay, I'm not saying I don't rate him as a player. I think our major issue is we don't have any pace in the side and create very little. With a decent overlapping fullback it would be a start and I think given some half decent service Heffernan will score.

Yes they are the king-makers and whilst some may blame chairmen for taking the money, ultimately it is they who dance to the pied piper of Sky IMO. Time will tell whether BTSport offers sustainable, healthy competition or whether it is another case of "winner's curse".
