Think he wanted to spend Christmas with the family by the looks of things.

Was a sending off? I thought it seemed harsh.

Sat right in from of the tackle, stonewall red card for what goes on in the game today. The only stonewall incident the ref got correct

Happened right in front of me. Threw himself into a tackle he was never going to win and lost control. Red card every week. About the only thing that wee guy posing as a ref got right all day.

It was as stonewall a red as ye'll ever see. Over the ball and plenty of force. I've not seen a replay but even Tommy Wright said at 1st viewing he had no complaints:agree:

Really?
I'm hoping that you've not seen the reply yet and are judging it from seeing it real time.

just managed to see some highlights and it's a definite red card, can have no complaints.
It's also a penalty in my opinion. Poor day for the ref

I thought it was a harsh red card. That was a real time judgement though, and I've not seen any highlights anywhere.

If it were a betting scandal, I don't think he'd have been looking to get sent off quite so quickly and blatantly.

I thought the same as you in real time, but on the replays he has both feet off the ground and studs showing. Correct decision from the ref to be fair.
