Anyone know why we've got a 2 pm kick off?

According to the article in the link

Please note the 2pm kick off time is to help supporters coming from outside and through Edinburgh due to the congestion that is expected due to the rugby international at Murrayfield later in the day.

seems fair, though no doubt a few hissy fits for not being 3pm

The 2 o'clock kick off doesn't make sense to me at all. If the game kicked off at 3 those that live outside Edinburgh would be leaving Easter Road just before 5 by which time all the egg chasers would be in their seats with their prawn sandwiches, so I can't see how that would cause them problems.

With a 2 o'clock kick off they will be heading back in to town at a time when tens of thousands of rugby fans will be making their way to the game.

It might be tough, but we'll cope.

It will be for policing at the grounds. Fans leaving ER at 3.45. Fans entering Muddyfield 4.30.

Not a happy bunny from me, my son finishes work at 1 o'clock and will now struggle to get to the game on time, ****ing egg chasers. :grr:

Why should our game be moved to accommodate the once a season brigade who attend 6 nations games?

Move the rugger and give the chaps an extra hour in the pub peeing in pint glasses, groping girls in Canterbury joggers and Ugg boots and other behaviours that would see football fans lifted.

It might be tough, but we'll cope.oh aye, we'll cope. we are just daft fitba' fans. the eggchasers could never cope, not even to wait another half hour, giving the fitba' fans an extra half hour to get in.

Always remember, football fans are second class citizens when it comes to sport. :aok:

A Welsh rugby fan once curled on out in the middle of two puggies and people just laughed. Guaranteed if that was anyone else they would have called him a dirty ******* - which is what he was. I've seen some horrific things from rugby fans, I just cut them off and get them to **** if I'm working. I even put the football on ahead of rugby if they're in and make them watch the rugby on the small TV.

I`ll swim against the tide and say I`m happy enough with this. Let`s us fans who also enjoy watching the Six Nations get back from the game in time to catch the rugby on the telly.

What's the big deal, only 1 hour earlier.
I think one or two posters on here, wanted to go to both games that day
