An inspiring story.

Over the last few years when we have had disappointing results I have often thought about the disappointing result in the second leg of the Dnipro game....... and how what happened off the pitch put that into sharp perspective as something far more important and lasting began.

Well done to the 4 amigos on the committee who work tirelessly to keep things going :not worth

Another good article Nic :aok:

PS interesting that Spurs have drawn them in last 32 (and that Ramos - former Spurs manager is there now) Wonder if something can be done to get Spurs fans to take stuff over / get involved ?

Wondered about this myself.

Maybe StevieC or another of committee can hitch a lift on one of the Spurs flights (its not easy getting there) and get them involved?

I had thought about it, not sure how to go about it though as no contacts at Spurs.

Must be someone on here with Spurs connections? - too good an opportunity to miss

Or what about an approach to their community foundation? http://www.tottenhamhotspur.com/foundation/

I've written to a couple of board contacts to see if they have a named contact at Spurs

I've also posted a thread on a fans forum.

:aok: the good thing is the way this has worked there is loads of time until this match (not like a 2 weeks between rounds like sometimes) hopefully something can be sorted

This is just one forum JB - if fellow Hibbies could register for other forums that will help us build up momentum

Thanks guys.

It's often hard for me to take on extra Dnipro related work when my hands are so full organising everything that is currently going on over there during the festive period.
At the moment we are currently busy organising a circus/pantomime trip, private Christmas meal at a large venue with entertainers, sweets to be handed out at events and Christmas presents for all the sponsored children at the recently amalgamated Tabachnaya and Topolinaya orphanages, as well as around 40 kids spread over 5 new foster homes that we are now supporting.

It's nice when someone has a great idea and can spend the time to follow it through as well.

Tell them that we'll provide valuable travel information in return for helping the kids.

Or what about an approach to their community foundation? http://www.tottenhamhotspur.com/foundation/

The response back from their official community foundation is that they are not able (interested?) in helping out.

Much better when these things are fan led initiatives anyway.

Anyone a member of an "unofficial" Spurs message board?
