Training with a view to a short term deal. Good luck to him and hope he gets his career back on track. Some fantastic memories of him in green and white. Think Kenny Shiels will do well there. Fancy them for play-offs next season.

He would be a really good signing for them IMO and is a proven goalscorer. All the best to him and Morton.

Good on him for swallowing his pride and accepting he has to drop down a level to get back playing.

Hope he does well and hopefully this is a sign he is sorting himself out.

As a player a really like GOC, he has it all in his locker. Could he come back for a third bite at the cherry!

Did they sign Nacho Novo as well? On paper looks like a good front line for that level. :agree:

Over 100 goals for Hibs, best striker I have seen in all my time watching football at ER, the way some fans talk about him is disgraceful LEGEND END OF.

Oh sorry, wrong striker.

Best of luck to Garry, hope this move works out for him.

Seen him in the petrol station a couple of weeks ago, he actually looked in decent shape. What amazed me was how polite he was to the assistant serving him, couldn't thank him enough.

Like others, I was him well. Dying to see GOC and DR play again whoever for except them of course...!

Think they have Novo, aye. On paper it does look like a good front line, especially at that level. :agree:

GOC and Franny Jeffers played in a friendly against Bolton reserves, finished 3-0 to Bolton, pretty sure both were released the next day.

Good luck to the big guy.

Why is there any need. Wrong forum.
Worked in Greenock when the shipyards were being dismantled and the soul ripped out communities who then fell on hard times Agree give Greenock a break and Gary needs one too .hope he can get fit and do himself Justice No pun intended but he will do the Community Service if he stats banging them in

Wish him all the best and hope he finally sorts his life out and gets back on track. Could have had a very successful career if he had kept on the straight and narrow and cut out the nonsense.

Still a bit pissed at the way he behaved after the 2012 cup final but the guy did give us some great times so although I wouldn't take him back at hibs, I do genuinly hope he gets back into football.

If he can get himself back to the level of fitness and sharpness he had even 2 years ago I think he'll score a good few in the championship. Good luck gaz.

:agree: Pretty sure I remember him being pictured on a night out a few hours after the final whistle of the 2012 final.

That was pretty galling. If I had been a Hibs player that day, I wouldn't have been out in public for weeks.

Imagine if Deek joined them also - I think Greenock would have a lot more people interested in them! Riordan. O'Connor. Novo. Some front 3 that is!

Riordan for Morton ?

If they both signed for Morton i'd find it extremely difficult not to go see them at some point. Just for old times sake.

I admire Gaz for doing something to get his career back on track - you can't argue with results and if he starts banging the goals in then who knows?

I admit I can be harsh on Gaz and Deeks and that's because they're such naturally gifted strikers and could have achieved more with their careers and I always held high expectations of the level they would play at.

Chuffed to see Gaz with something to prove and fire in his belly - hope he gets one final decent opportunity.
