You should have picked before the booze took hold. Forster at RB? The lad lacks pace & would get crucified at RB. Hook Thomson too. We have no width which means everything has to come through the middle[or get lumped back to front!] & Thomson slows it down too much.

I dont think anyone on the forum knows our best team: we have one thread saying cant wait for harris, another saying cariny once fit, another saying LC and SR good center mid, plus we have cummings coming through the ranks. We even have a cb problem as we could easily have nelson, foster or hanlon there. I dont think we have a set in stone starting 11 but instead have a squad the we could set up for differnt teams, ie more deffence side(to play the like of celtid or utd) and a more sttacking side (to play lesser teams). All in all hopefully uncle tel can pck the right team for the job.

Have no idea if Forster can play right back but don't have a problem trying him as it is a "problem" position. Maybury is ok but is really meant to be a coach and was initially seen as a third choice full back for the season behind Clancy and Mullen. Clancy has been injured and Mullen seems to be regarded as not good enough.

Going on what we have I would persevere with Maybury for now athen Clancy if fit but really be looking to get someone in Jan. Agree with rest of your team though would maybe swap Harris for Cairney. Would like to see us eventually move to a 4-3-3 as have long believed that this would get the most out of Robertson and Craig:-

This would be mine as well. Can't believe the number that are leaving Maybury out. At the moment he is essential to our defence. When he's not there we look a heck of a lot shakier.

I really think it's harsh to suggest dropping Forster after one error so far this season. He's been excellent apart from that. He also offers more pace and better distribution than Nelson. Oh yeah - and let's bring back Calum Booth too for a bit of pace and width going forward! :wink:
