Can someone provide the average age of the 2 starting 11's at Tannedice today? Not sure there could have been mutch in it?

Dundee United have a few solid experienced players in the team to compliment the youth. Average starting age today was 24.

Normally Ciftci (21) plays ahead of Graham (26) and normally Gunning (about 23) plays ahead of Dillon (about 30)

Maybe, allowed 2 over 20s in outfield plus an over 20 Goalie.

They only had 2 teenagers in their starting line up yesterday.

In that case, Locke is talking as much pish as he takes - McDonald, Hammill, Wilson and Stevenson are not U20 players.
