Anyone use the controllers for this..I have the software and been learning to mix over the past few months
(using mac). Looking to get a Traktor controller but their pretty pricey and wondered if they were worth the cash or should I look elsewhere?

A controller gives you more flexibility allowing you to better control your mixes. Where as if you're just using keyboard mapping, it's more difficult and doesn't really look all too professional in the club scene.
If you're just mixing as a hobby, then you won't "need" a controller, but if you want to make a career out of it, then a controller is a good place to start.

I don't need I want ;-) it's only a hobby but I fancy having a go locally..mainly industrial techno & noise..just looking for that extra bit of control compared to keyboard/mouse..

Well it will offer you better control and it will look good too. :agree:

surely 2x technics 1210's and a djm800 mixer is the best place to start
