Saw him as a player and he was a fine right back. Coaching obviously suited him and I'm saddened to hear the news of his illness

Sad news indeed. A loyal and brilliant servant to Arsenal. The type of player we don't see enough of nowadays. I wish him the best with his battle with this horrible indiscriminate disease.
