Seen a photo of it the other day on the back of the Current-Hun and i thought it looked ok..

Thought the tartan round the sleeves was a good touch..

But now i seen the pinstripe kinda detail.. Totally change my mind and now think it makes it look quite cheap..

Hideous, template for any Scotland top should be the current one

Disgusting, pure training top (and a ***** one at that) what's the point in having a big name brand making your gear if it's kept cheap as **** cause you're *****. (see absolutely everything that now resides in the clubshop to reinforce that point)

Was it the first Adidas Scotland shirt that had the collar and the lion on the front? That was class, much better than the latest edition.

Hideous, horrible colour, ridiculous 4 legged 'spider', as for badge; think Scotland was established a bit earlier than 1873.

Tacky.
Navy shorts?
Did someone say TARTAN?
WTF have they done to the badge?
Apart from the Tweedledum/dee collar, the current strip is fine. Stop ******ing about with it.

Adidas kits just haven't looked right since they started putting these patches on the sleeves that break the three stripes. And what's with the maroon socks and trim?

Apart from that it looks alright.

An embarrassing effort. Could be salvaged a bit if the shorts were replaced with proper white Scotland shorts. As for the shade

think the issue is, the current one is so ****ing smart it would be impoosible to top it, so they have just done something completely different. I dont like it particularly and think it looks a bit cheap and off-the-peg as it were. Still I reckon it will shift in its thousands.

BTW who are the boys modelling it, other than Naismith and Snodgrass?

Wee bitty too Chelsea-esque for me am afraid. Just when the crest was returned to its proper glory, the SFA/Adidas make a total shop front of the upgrade!

I love it (though it is kinda dull), remember it will have a number on the front, match details on the front, name and number on the back and patches on the sleeves so will look far busier when it's actually played in

This now happens because Nike kicked up a fuss that the 3 stripes were an extension of their branding, therefore it was unfair that they got more brand space on strips than Nike does. So now we get much shorter stripes as a compromise...

Its disgusting. I was sure it was just a training top. There should be no "clima-cool" branding on a national top. Especially a Scotland one. To be fair anyone over the age of 20 wearing a football top needs a shake.

Football fans are the most conservative bunch.

They don't like change.

Cue the cries of "It's not change we dislike, it's the new strip".

I usually like Germany strips but i don't really get the colour scheme on that one.

3 shades of maroon. What does that have to do with Germany?

Black, red and gold across the front would have been beautiful.

I see. I was going to say look at the difference in the muscles on show with the rugger boys and the football players. If it is just regular punters then that is even more alarming!

Remember guys, if you are in the Scotland Supporters Club, you get 15% discount if you buy in store at JD's on production of your memembership card. (They all expire 31/12/13.

A massive £7.80 off the jersey. £44.20 is marginally more acceptable price to be paying.

I really don't understand why the SFA allow manufacturers to mess around with the badge..It's the Scotland National Team Logo. Anyone with any idea about marketing will know that your brand logo is very important. It defines your product. Coca Cola, Shell, Tesco's etc etc all know this and any changes that are made over the years are tiny modernisation's. The SFA seem to allow manufacturers to change it at will every couple of years..it's stupid, insulting and downright bad marketing.

Scotland Home strip should be...

Navy Blue
White trim
white shorts
red socks
proper badge
No horrible pinstripes, patterned material or other gimmicky crap

I have not minded the last couple of strips (despite the stupid watermark flag/badge thing Adidas put on them) below. They are acceptable.

http://www.tartanarmy.net/blog/wp-content/uploads/2010/03/scotland-adidas-shirt-2010.jpg

However THE RAG BELOW IS JUST DISGUSTING !!!!!!! Wrong Badge, wrong shorts, wrong socks, wrong trim. In Short, it's NOT a Scotland Kit..I hate to think what they have done with the away strip..it's probably brown like the Coventry 1970's kit !!

To be honest I'd ban the players from wearing stupid coloured boots too. Those yellow things clash so horrendously with the "bloodied jobby" socks it makes me want to retch. Ronaldo can get away with white boots because he is a genius, Beckham got away with gold boots because (like it or not) he is an icon. Unfortunately Scotland doesn't have a Ronaldo, so let's just stick with proper coloured boots shall we !

I really like it tbh, nice strip, similar to Germany's kits in terms of design which are always pretty smart.

Bit dull, but overall I am a fan.
