FFS talksport is a sports station designed to wind up its listeners. Alan Brazil is a typical ex pro who knows hee haw about football in his home country because he's been away to long. But he is right wing jakie so I suppose that's a good enough reason to dislike him

Out of the two of them, I would say that only Butcher right now has any credibility in terms of football decisions.

Fair point - Brazil is a Tosser but none the less interesting to hear what Butchers says. Let's see how long it takes for him to raise the OF

Normally it's 0 seconds so I was quite happy with the interview. He always comes across well, and I liked the wee sunshine on leith mention

Biggest thing to take from it 'if given the time' mentioned a couple of times we really need to give that a try  Also liked the way he spoke about high intensity and pressing don't see enough of that at ER just now here's hoping he gets the messages through

One thing I picked up on.
He mentioned how there was no pressure at ICT. Now a lot of folk have said that's WHY he done so well there, and that he wouldn't cope with the pressure at ER. But he went on to say that he has been craving that pressure and it's one of the reasons he took the job! Good to hear.

Disgrace that he wasn't required at least to recite, if not actually sing, SOL at his interview(s). Just confirms that the current board doesn't have a clue how to pick a manager.

Butcher in, Petrie out.

Me too - I listen to Brazil in the morning on the drive to work and that Adrian Durham on the way home - as long as you don't froth at the mouth about the lack of discussion of anything not related to England then its fine.:greengrin

That fal fek Brazil could not wait to get TB off the subject of Hibs and onto stuff about engerland friendlies. Off switch used. Whilst he was on about Hibs came accross well and is craving the pressure to manage "at such a big club". TB & MM are going to turtn this club around. A long time since i felt so enthusiastic. GGTTH
