I thought it would be more than around £100,000 per year. Two grand a week. What will the highest paid player at Hibs be earning?

Unless I'm more forgetful than I'm willing to admit, Blobby was on £220,000 and was asked to take a pay cut by the Tasch to £180.000 , would say Hibs pay the manager a half decent wage compared to other clubs , that. Ring
Being 10 plus years ago, not to be snuffed at. Fair to say the sponsor ship was at a higher level but for us a no bad wage, more than he was worth!!

Another Hibs.net myth I'm afraid. Bobby weighed 220lbs and was asked by Rod to reduce to 180lbs to save on material for his club tracksuit

& when you compare these figures to what fat ally is apparently getting in the second bottom league you can easily see why the Huns went bust and why the newco that replaced them is at risk of of going the same way.

One of the past directors told of how much Pat Fenlon was on when he first came to the club.

I think its fair to say the suggestions so far are way below that mark.

Sure it was £208k Bobby was on- exactly 4k a week, but I'm pretty sure the pay-cut was even bigger than that.

I'm guessing TB will be around the £200k mark too though.

I have absolutely no inside knowledge at all but I think TB must be on a fair wedge. He has swapped a low risk job, where he had been very successful, for a very high risk job to a consistently underperforming club, with big potential, but where the supporters are understandably very restless and where there has been a managerial merry-go-round. The risks for TB are high with no guarantees of success.

My guess is he has taken it because a) it is significantly more money b) he believes the current players are just about good enough to motivate and turn around c) if he gets it right the potential is considerable. d) the facilities are the best in Scotland outside Celtic and Servco.

This move is a big punt by Petrie. My wild guess -Compensation to ICT for TB and MM £150k? Salary for TB £200k? Salary for MM who allegedly was offered the ICT job £125k? Plus presumably some budget to bring in one or two players at Christmas? Stakes high- no improvement gates of 8000 and 6000 seasons next year and potential £1.5/2m loss, success gates 10/12k, 8000 seasons and perhaps break even small profit. Win the Cup and the re-naming to The Butcher Stadium.

He's got to be looking at around £200k I reckon for a job the size if the Hibs one.

Gary Locke is on whatever Hearts can afford to pay him every third week. I heard it was some Lidl vouchers they found in the car park and a jug of pish last week.

I heard he felt the vouchers were a bit too much and gave them to Billy Brown in return for another jug of pish
