Having scoured every word on Terry Butchers move to Hibs, but without actually counting, at least 80%, probably 90%, of the posts where he's mentioned refer to 'the coach' or 'the scout'.

Whether he comes here or not, and I hope he does as part of the 4 man team, ITS STEVE MARSELLA. Described by some as the 'unsung hero'.

Please. In this period of wooing can we give the guy a (pie :-) little respect and refer to him by name?

Thank you :-)

Is it OK if I refer to him as the unsung hero, then?

Steve is a nice enough name, bit it's a bit bland for a hero, whether sung or unsung, tbh.

Nope.

There's no indication, so far, that he's even been to America.

Stop winking at me it's rather off putting ;-)

Marcelo Salas is coming to hibs and all some people can do is moan about trivial spelling mistakes.

We always do things differently at Hibs - why don't we make up a song for him?

No wonder TB just signs every player he proposes. Who'd argue with him?

Is making a song about an unsung hero not a bit confusing?

I've been Steve Marsella for many's a year,
And I've spent all my time finding players far and near
And I may be leaving to put Hibs to the fore
And hope not to see them roll over no more

And it's no, nay, never!
No nay never no more
Shall I see Hibs roll over,
No never no more...

I think singing a song about an unsung hero is a certain type of genius. It really marks out Hibs fans as a cut above the rest.

Other evidence of our genius: the ability to see unseen work by industrious yet invisible footballers (NB this ability is not shared by all Hibbys).
