That would be interesting. I'm sceptical though. After he turned down Sheffield Utd I would be surprised to see him come to ER. Would he be on that much more money? Would it be a step up for him given our current form and league placings the last few years?

No sign of this on any BBC website. Only thing I can find is his distancing himself from the job, or maybe distancing himself from the speculation.
