That would be appreciated. Weather won the toss for me today.

15-1 win would be nice again.

Doyle? :dunno: Hibs just tweeted this:

A hat-trick for Cummings in the first half for Hibernian EOS; now 3-0 against Peebles Rovers #hibees (https://twitter.com/search?q=%23hibees&src=hash)

Official Twitter and Billy Bryson have it as a Cummings hat-trick, his 17th, 18th and 19th goals of the season.

Was going by the team sheet. Must have different numbers from the team sheet.
Number 9 scored again. 4-0.

They generally do. When I was there a few weeks back, JMcD kindly gave me a note of who was playing and said to ignore the numbers on the programme :agree:

2 of my friends play for Peebles. Jonny Flockhart at right back and his brother Chris in midfield. Who got their matching orders

Tall black bloke up front? Jose maybe? Clumsy tackle but ref couldn't wait to get the red out his pocket.. Same ref that took the Preston Scottish cup game the other week! Looks like a wee boy!

He seems to score a lot of goals. Excited to see if he can dl
it for the first team if and when he gets his chance.

Anybody, and I do mean anybody, who has scored 16 goals already this season must be brought into the first team frame. no doubt we will have "he's definitely not ready for first team football" coming along any minute.

I agree. Even if he is just in the matchday squad more to gain experience

jason will be brought in when the time is right for him, no disrespect to the lad but scoring goals against east of scotland and your fellow under 20 players is a bit different to spfl standard

he was on the bench against killie earlier in the season and depending on the new manager i would say he will be involved again before the season is done

monktonharp

if he'd been on the pitch on Wed. for the last half hour, he would have played against at least 7 players almost his age.

Here we go again.....

Jason is not ready for first team football.

He scored 4 goals at EoS.

Calm.

21 goals now I think, some effort regardless of opposition.

I thought he would have been in the squad for tomorrow's game, bearing in mind how bad some of our forwards have been of late.
Did he play 90 mins or get taken off early

A very enjoyable 90 minutes and refreshing to see a Hibs team playing with pace and flair against my home town team.

Good stuff Dave! At least it wasn't the dreaded 15. In fact only 6 is as good as a victory !

To those speaking about Jason being in the first team, on today's showing he isn't ready yet, wasn't his greatest game and missed a sitter in the first half... No doubt the laddie has potential but let's not rush lads these days!

Cracking pictures :aok:

I planned to go but ended up at the garage getting my tyres changed grrrrrr

From the pics, Andy Black looked his usual marauding self (like him a lot). Did David Gold play well (like him a lot too) :greengrin

Edit: One or two of the Peebles guys looked as though they'd spent far too much money in Greggs!

he scored 4 goals in 60 minutes then got taken off but he missed a sitter oh well can't be ready then for 1st team football then jeez the boys just turned 18 if he scored 5 in an hour would he be ready

best player we've had in years IMO

If he is good enough he is old enough. This is how young players do not get chances. I did not here anyone say that when a 16 year old Rooney scored an absolute screamer against Arsenal.

Andy Black was the one who really impressed me the most JB, marauding was the perfect adjective to describe his playing style, and oh to see a number two play that way in the first team!

Good stuff Dave! At least it wasn't the dreaded 15. In fact only 6 is as good as a victory !

Colin McDonald was urging the team to kill time to try and keep it reasonably respectable at 5, but a late goal put paid to that!

How will we know if he is ready or not unless we try him? And give him a full game or start him...for a few weeks on the trot.

And....who needs East Mains.
