His tactics would make sense, We don't have any decent strikers to play!

As much chance of him getting it as me getting a ride from Emma Willis.

If it were to happen (it won't) then Rod must have a touch of Johnston-itis. Surely no one would be that daft. It certainly would unite the support - in the way Tito, Saddam and various nut-jobs throughout history kept other things in check whilst a central figure of "dislike" focused attentions elsewhere. Hmmm come to thing about it maybe it has it's attractions for Rod ;)

Usual unemployed names will be banned from now until we have a new manager in place and there will be a number of threads on here about numerous different candidates. I hate this bit.

According to bbc sports reporter Brian McLauchlin

Leveine is most definitely in the frame for the Hibs job. WTF. :no way:

Let's not get our knickers in a twist. Craig Levein will never, ever, ever, be Hibs manager

Pat Fenlon recommended him as his successor perhaps

That's me heard Potter and Hartley both linked.

Lets throw Neil Berry or John Colquhoun into the mix anaw eh!

I've got more chance of bedding Mila Kunis than supporting Hartley as Hibs manager :greengrin

It was Brian McLaughlin, the well-known Hearts supporter and BBC reporter who started the Levein thing. Then he did his usual 'don't you think Hibs fans expectations are too high' thing with Fenlon when he was interviewing him. Fenlon disagreed with him.

Yes, the usual hilarious BBC-yam banter about Hibs, as heard regularly on Open All ***ho*es. Don't they get bored with it themselves? It hasn't been amusing since, er, it started.

Are we opening a kebab shop?

If so I am confident he could do a job after he has been shown how to spin the lump of meat round and keep the flies off. 3 month trial, provides own uniform, what have we got to lose? He demonstrated all his potential as a future trainee Kebab shop junior whilst at the Scotland job.

What a laugh eh.
I'd have Pat Fenlon reinstated in a flash rather than Levein

And Billy Brown as their bitch, assuming he's not booked up as widow t****ie for the pantomime season already-the good ones tend to get snapped up quick.

I've always thought that boycotts and people returning season tickets were being a bit dramatic and looking for attention.

However, if Craig Levein ever becomes the manager of Hibs, I won't be back and my season ticket would be getting personally delivered back to Easter Road.

Thankfully it would never happen.

No thank you, imagine the riots at Easter Road if he got the job. Media frenzy would be on the amount of season tickets being thrown at the door and demand for refunds as opposed the appointment itself.

Erskine hibby should be arrested, for even suggesting this. if not, lets chain him to the back of my van and trail him through a car wash at Asda, the jewel, then dump him in a field next to the new Waverley train line at Sherriffhall junction. the big digger there, can lift him into the next lorrie that comes along and use him for bottoming on the railway line.

I have to totally agree, when I heard them mention his name on Sportsound, my thoughts were over my dead body
