Anyone going along to this event this weekend? Top 16 players in the world over 3 days in Edinburgh. My partner is darts daft but has been in hospital most of the summer. She's out of hospital during the day and has to go back each night for more treatment. Today we went to the White Lady for lunch. Peter Wright came in and was a top lad. Happy to chat and seemed a good lad. Partner is gutted were missing it. Hope he has a good weekend.

Having bother posting pics up but his napper is green this weekend.

I'm going on the Saturday evening with around a dozen others. Looking forward to it (though not the expected slagging from the Hearts fans in the group :greengrin)

Good to see Hamilton getting pumped from Thornton. Tried to be the smart arse with the crowd and came off second best!

Great game between Lewis and Huybrechts there. 6-5 Lewis, Huybrechts averaged over 106 and lost!

Peter wright now got blue hair !

Decent reception it appeared for Lewis. Gets it tight in Glasgow but got a good cheer at murrays darts day and again last night.

Brilliant night.

Wade wasn't at all happy with the barracking he got, but I didn't think it was too over the top - unless he was getting it tight from those right at the front. He looked like he was prepared to walk off at one point, but he played superbly to win the game from being almost out of it. No love lost between him and Whitlock either.

Lewis was superb again and it was great to see Barney beat MVG.

Fancy Lewis to win it. He's unstoppable when on form.

Final : Taylor 10-1 Lewis.

Lewis had an average of over 100! Taylor 108.5.

Taylor was too good there, but it was perhaps a game too far for Lewis given the state he was in.
