who though? we need to someone who can actually, really do the job. the only two i can think of are butcher and mowbray.

butcher's teams are tough, physically and mentally. bugger this 'hibs = joga bonito' stuff - i'd rather start with 'hibs = dignified', at least.

mowbray would be a risk in a way...but he's experienced, and even if he was out his depth at celtic and boro, i don't think we're above him. i think he might see it as a step backwards though.

You know what, i hate the guy and think he is a dick in the media but shiels has watched a lot of our games now and you would have to think i have more tactical nous than Fenlon. Could Shiels do a job or is this how bad things have got?

Anyone, just anyone.

Angela Rippon, either of my cats, Margo MacDonald, Barry Lavety, Barry Manilow, Ryan Stevenson, Edouard Malofeev - absolutely anyone other than the man who has brought us record humiliating defeats in the last two years.

This is just a tsunami of pain that cannot end quickly enough.

Never thought I'd say this but Jimmy Calderwood is a realistic choice. Unemployed, affordable, mostly finished in the top half of the league and tried to attack teams. The last 2 seem like a distant memory for us.

Kenny Shiels to the end of the season would be a good option, Even Jim Gannon .....

There's 10yr old kids in the stands who could produce better formations and results than Fenlon has, it's not that difficult to be honest, he should have been emptied before the start of last season then he maybe wouldn't have so many of our worst ever performances / results to his name!

Never a manager in a million years!!

Please not Kenny Shiels!!!

i have always thought that, in football, just like in love, you should never go backwards. However, if Tony could convince Veno to come with him, I would be willing to break the rules.

Shouldn't supporters get to vote on new manager?
Is it totally unrealistic?
Would CC or PF got the job,..

No, Killie board fell out with Heff after outspoken comments about Shiels sacking.

I'm sick of the same question every time this is brought up. Who can we get etc. There are loads of people out there who want the job. **** me how many times has it been said by Petrie that there was a massive queue to get an interview?
I have mo doubts that it will be the same this time...if we get rid of Pat.

McLeish, Mowbray or Shiels until the end of the season for me.

Nobody can be worse than the current incumbent.

There's something more deep rooted wrong at our club than just the manager though.

Under performing and getting humped in derbies is nothing new. It's been part of the Easter Rd culture for many, many years.

How about Mark Venus..... he will get the heave ho from Middlesbrough when they bring their new management team in.

I honestly can't see Mowbary or McLeish coming back probably too expensive for us. Realistically Shields, Venus or god forbid Calderwood.

Butcher by a long way but no way he'll take it.

Mcleish=nope. Mowbray=nope. I'll go to bed praying it's not Shiels.

No idea who we could get, I worry about who appoints more than anything.

Mowbray or Collins

Collins was the best manager we had in the years, the players just couldnt hack the "hard work". which led to him leaving

Sadly, the Hibs job is getting ever more toxic. But bringing someone back is hazardous. The culture needs changed from the top first.

I have said this before. The 2007 Team won the cup despite him. Not because of him. He would be an awful appointment. I said to my wife when he was appointed, the team Weill turn round and say 'Aye right John'. I was proved right. Great footballer for us. Never a man manager, as has been proved elsewhere.

Shiels or McLeish for me. Mowbray's a broken man since his time at Celtic.

Would be delighted with Butcher, Mowbray or big Eck.
Venus as assistant to Mowbray but would be fine but preferably i'd like to see a bit forward planning and get Ian Murray in as assistant/1st team coach to any of the above and effectively 'train him up' for the job in 3 years or so.
Please gawd not Jimmy Nic, Calderwood or Shiels.

Failing that just grab the 1st f***er that walks past the ground as they couldn't be any worse than what we have.
I can accept Hibs trying to do things the right way and getting it wrong. What is totally unacceptable to me is have a manager who tries to play the game the 'wrong' way and still failing.
Must be sacked in the morning. MUST!
