The Daily Mail running a story about how his songs were written to glamourise hard drug use etc. Etc. Etc.

Disgrace of a paper but I'd imagine Lou would quite enjoy the thought that he'd pisses them off.

Great musician in every respect.

Obviously knew he was ill with the transplant but thought he was doing well.

Was never a huge fan of his studio stuff but Rock n' Roll Animal/Lou Reed Live are 2 of my favourite live albums ever.

Medicine come a long way but with the life he led its unbelievable he made it this far just shows some people are lucky they can push body to excess. I imagine his lifestyle would have had most dead by thirty. RIP indeed. Made his mark in many different forms
