The fact that we have Hearts to come on Wednesday may mean we don't get quite as big a crowd as we'd hope for on Saturday. I'm sure I did read that its a Hibs kids game though so hopefully that adds a few to the fate.

Hopefully get a win which would encourage more to get tickets for Wednesday.

Agree with that. I was looking forward to this one more than the celtic game. Against celtic all you can hope for is that hard work and effort combined with a bit of luck will get you a result. Mission accomplished, but you dont learn much from these games.

This is the sort of game which will give us an idea of whether or not we can sustain a challenge in the top half of the table. Aberdeen have built a decent squad and have hopes of making a dent this season, but that means they are on a par with us in the rebuilding stakes. I have only seen them on TV against Falkirk, but they moved the ball around very well that night and won easily at what is usually a tough cup tie venue.

They also beat Dundee Utd on Saturday, though from what I heard on the radio it was a pretty close run thing and could have gone either way ... in fact if anything Utd were the better team.

We are at home and I would want to see us coming out all guns blazing from the off and take the game to them. Anything less will be a bit of a disappointment IMO.

Zoubir got his first start and has shown what he can do
Handling is back
Mcpake is back
Strikers are on good form
Defence isn't conceding
Aberdeen are a good side this season

Wish zoubir and handling it really makes a difference to attacking, handling was brilliant before he got injured so hopefully he can recapture that. Aberdeen will be a massive test for us and if we can win that game it really gives us the confidence to push on
