Been 3 times since it opened, always booked a table so it's been no bother getting in.

Absolutely fantastic IMO.

I never knew this existed, but I like the idea of this place. The menu looks amazing.

Live cooking and banquet confuses me though.

How does it work and what should I expect to pay?

There's a selection of meats and fishes - you head to the station and choose your meat. They cook it in front of you.

Re how much to pay, it's around £15 excluding drinks. Depends on time of day how much it costs

Heard mixed reviews.

A few people i know loved it, a few absolutely hated it. Someone described the service as being a bit like Nandos which put me right off.

Always seems busy and pretty reasonable priced by the looks of it so might give it a go in the near future.

Her indoors want to go but I've never been to a buffet style restaurant and really enjoyed it. When I go for a meal I like the food arranged nicely on the plate and brought to me.

Everything was fresh and I reckon there must have been over 100 dishes to choose from... From Sunday roast to sushi with curry ect in between

Paid 15quid for all you can eat then the other bonus which is not always the case at these types of places was the the soft drink was free refills and only cost 2.50

There's been one in Aberdeen for a couple of years. Stupidly busy but the best buffet type venue around IMO. Loads of choice and some decent "cook to order" stuff. The kids love it, especially the chocolate fountain. Not the best if you want to have a relaxing meal with some conversation as there's always one of your party away filling their plate but great for a quick......big feed.

Buffet meals I hate them.

Been a couple of weeks ago, wasn't impressed by the starters as just about everything was luke warm, mains were pretty good though for a buffet restaurant and plenty of choice.

 It's a buffet, they ask what you want to drink and you help yourself to food.

I'd been a few times. It's great. Far better than the other chinese buffets.

Edit: One thing I would say is the selection is a lot more limited at lunch.

I like my food hot not warm and I found too many dishes were warm rather than hot. Saying that the food they cook to order was piping hot and very nice. You get what you pay for which is a very decent buffet style meal.

They keep tables free for walk up customers. I've been twice and both times there were people waiting on tables and they seemed to be seated quite quickly.

Ah, excellent. I shall speak to mrs crab and see if she fancies going. After I get back from Paisley of course :)
