Happy with that, if they can hold on to that score it keeps up 4 points off second

That was a cracker! I wonder what the half time pundits will make of that one. I can't say I've seen anything like that before. I presume that the laws say that the ball must be move out of the D before the corner can be deemed as taken?

It's strange one as it's obviously been a planned move and Draper has told the linesman that he's taken the corner.

According to McCann the ball does not have to move out the quadrant

Should have been a goal then

Good goal by Partick Thistle, well taken.

Hope it stays the same so we will be closer to ICT - I would say puts more points between PTFC and Hearts but hearts are nowhere near Thistle, ha ha.

Only "touched" it would seem. There's more to come of this incident - it's a good talking point. I can't understand why the 4th official didn't disallow it immediately.

If we can do a job on the Dons we will suddenly have to start thinking about it being a good start to the season.............

ICT scored but goal chalked off cause they didnt take corner properly.

According to the rules the corner had been taken properly.

The ball must be placed inside the corner arc nearest to the point where
the ball crossed the goal line

• The corner flag post must not be moved

• Opponents must remain at least 9.15 m (10 yds) from the corner arc until
the ball is in play

• The ball must be kicked by a player of the attacking team

• The ball is in play when it is kicked and moves

• The kicker must not play the ball again until it has touched another player

Exactly my thoughts, I just hope that once we get the "hard" games out of the way we don't go for our usual slump by loosing "easy" games.

Yes, hit him on the back of his head but he was okay to carry on with the game.

Great second half performance by Spurs. The goal by Soldado was sublime as was the pass to him by Paulinho. Money well spent!

Townsend will probably get the media plaudits for his speedy runs but I'd say Paulinho is the man.
