I didn't even realise that tbh.........but it makes you wonder why the hell would the Hertz goalie still be celebrating something that happened almost a year and a half ago? when his team are a mere shadow of that team, sad sad individual!

Because it's the only thing they have left to cling on to.
They have nothing else.
They have nothing else.
...and even that has been stripped of all credibility after administration.

Don't actually mind McDonald, seems like an ok person compared with some of the other muppets that play or have played for hearts. Although it might just be cos he's a *hite keeper and I like *hite hearts keepers.

Ian Murray wasn't even born in 1973 yet we accepted his right to celebrate the 7-0 result.
Is it so difficult to understand the hearts keeper who actually played in the 5-1 game celebrating it?

I don't think anyone on here finds it difficult to understand at all.
The responses I have seen reflect a pretty normal football rivalry, in my book.

I think the 5-1 thing is different from 7-0 because as far as I am aware, Hibs didn't squander 80 million quid of another country's taxes to earn it. We also didn't shamelessly rob other people and a long list of charities and creditors to put a team we couldn't afford out on the park to win said "victory". So yes, I'm afraid the fuss they make about 5-1 is shameless and pathetic, but it is beautifully ironic and even hilarious when you consider that it has led directly to the likely death of their "club".

Guys guys 5-1 lol get it???? lmao hobos. For the 30 years I've supported Hibs I've seen people give the old 7 gesture of 5 and 2 fingers. An immortal and never surpassed result. If only we had died the year after 7 we'd be a big team.

My statement was more to do with the Hertz goalie standing in his own house, presumably having his wife take a photo of him in a ***** t-shirt doing a ***** hand gesture about something that happened almost a year and a half ago, but hey ho ho each to their own eh! Ian Murray had the bottle to sport his hair do @ Tiny, we will see if McDonald takes his goalie top off @ ER on the 30th to show said ***** t-shirt off!

I hadn't realised before that the hand gesture referred to the result of a football match. I thought it was them demonstrating no webbing between the fingers, and presumed that a hand with only one finger extended does have some webbing.

Correct in a game in their own back yard, with a team that we could afford, and did not assemble through non payment of taxes etc etc etc. ;-)

If my team was 21 points behind their nearest rivals in the first season of having a level playing field, I wouldn't be posing for any pictures.

They should add an explanation under the names on the shirt.
"Here's a few of the people that took stupid salaries while declaring their undying love for the club and, now that we need them, they've all changed their phone numbers."
It's quite sad. It's a bit like walking about wearing a T-Shirt with the name of your ex-girlfriend that dumped you and stole all the furniture.
