Hope so. Will help if he's actually played in the middle and not stuck out on the left like in the final. By the time he went central we were 2 nil down with the game pretty much done.

For me, Thomson has to step up his game a bit. I think he is our best player but he needs to start showing it a bit more. He has played well in some games but I'd like to see him really starting to dominate games in the the middle of the park because he's got the ability to do it.

A sin that this is the case, as Brown now plays the role Thomson used to/is supposed to.There any chance he'll up his game against his best bud?
