had the complete misfortune of first hearing and then seeing an orange march in Edinburgh City centre earlier today (I apologise to my ears and eyes).
anyway, my gripe is;- the "band" (and there was only one) was a weegie one. "Glasgows Protestants" written on the side of the Lambeg.
The sad ensemble had the back up of the Stone Island dressers, who looked hell bent on a square go (although the only interested people were two female Chinese tourists!) . But, more pathetically, the band AND the Stone Island muppets had the security of local police (nice touch).
Easy question, why was this embarrassing and very pathetic march allowed to take place down the High Street and past the parliament by a glaswegian sectarian boy band?
Tempted to submit an FOI to Police Scotland about this.
Orange folks ---- grow balls
