Going back quite a bit, but I used to enjoy reading the letters page in the Mail on a Saturday in the late 80s/early 90s (don't worry, I didn't pay for the, er, privilege). It was for "juniors". Simply hilarious. All these wee Tory kids rattling on with a Pavlovian, foaming hatred of all things non-Thatcherite. They were fuming! It would be interesting to know how many of them are in UKIP just now.

Also, they publish more articles on banking than most and I work in that industry so I actually find myself reading quite a few articles as well (if for no other reason than to confirm the headline is a load of pish).

I find most media outlets to be inaccurate and misleading. Their agenda is to cause outrage in order to sell papers (or get hits online) so I never trust what they say without multiple sources backing it up.

Edit: This post is in no way defending the Daily Mail, they're probably the worst of a bad bunch.
