Big game tonight on the SPL, St Mirren v Aberdeen live on BT sport.
Could do with Saints picking up a point or 3, as we don't want the Dons getting a run of victories

Aberdeen to beat St Mirren is a certainty, IMO.

Down south, Everton should beat Newcastle.

If I had magnetic control of the ball, Aberdeen would be in for a real doin.. Would be great all round for the league for Saints to get a win tonight.

If St Mirren lose tonight Lennon will be sacked and the Hearts could catch them cold at the weekend. Would only be a matter of time before they overtook them

That was a shocking goal to concede from Newcastle's point of view.

3-0 Everton before HT.

Who is Yanga-Mbiwa? He looks absolutely shocking.

Newcastle are my 'other team' and I have been to a few games in recent years. Let's just say a lot of them don't like pardew and have an even more disliking of Kinnear.

The bit btw is a total bombs care. Noticed tribute that they started with an all 'non British' team.

Can see Pardews 8 year contract not lasting very long (unless Ashley is happy regardless)

Unfortunately there is a long way to go in this one. Like your thinking tho.

I hope I'm wrong but cannot see St Midden keeping a clean sheet. Hope I'm wrong tho.

Aberdeen by far the better team now. More and more pressure getting put on st mirren. I agree a st mirren clean sheet does look unlikely at the moment.

If St mirren go to the wonga dome on saturday on the back of a win tonight it will make things interesting as i think they could win there.

Agree, that if they hold on, they go to Tynie with a real bit between the teeth. Certainly spices things up.

If they win tonight, they would go 14 points clear of Hearts with a victory at the weekend.

We would then need Kilmarnock to start picking up a few points. :aok:

They need a fit McGinn, Flood and Robson.

Zola just fouled folk all night and Vernon was even poorer.

St Mirren were unlucky and I thought they had the better chances but only managed to put away one.

9 points ahead of the yams with them at the Wongadome on Sat. A draw is more than enough as the yams need to win.

As someone else mentioned we need Killie to start picking up points as well.
