seen it tonight as well and definately recomend it. cant mind if the book finishes the same way but his item of choice for the deed at the end made me smile for some reason.

Just back from seeing it and wow, james mcavoy is brilliant, as poster above said done the book justice.

also read a bit by Irvine welsh saying because bruce robertson is the way he is, that's why he made him a jambo :greengrin

Went to see tonight and really enjoyed. Wasn't sure when James McAvoy was cast but he was brilliant.

Only criticism would be that i thought Bruces background story was glossed over eg who his Dad was, why everyone in the village hated him but on the whole thought it was really good.
