I've used a word beginning in 'g' and ending in 't' to describe our city rivals a couple of times today, and it seems to be a no-no on here, so apologies for that.

Can I ask why it's banned? It's one of the nicer descriptive words I have for them :greengrin

A few people said they didn't like it when it was first used so we zapped it. Given that it's two word run together I kinda see their point.

I also think it's too polite for them :greengrin

Has anyone ever called them "yams" or "g*nts" in real life? A tad cringeworthy, IMO.

One of our fellow posters referred to them as the 'Poppy Stealers'.

I like that expression and intend to use it at every opportunity,
