Was not at the game tonight but wanted to see if anyone can start this.

Williams - 5 - Didn't have a save to make but didn't look to clever when the ball came into the box
Stevenson - 7 - Solid
Nelson - 5 - Not his greatest game for us, caught out with balls from out wide for their goals
Hanlon - 5 - see Nelson
Maybury - 6 - see Stevenson
Taiwo -7 - worked hard, ref seemed to give every decision against him
Craig - 9 - finally a goal scoring midfielder
Robertson - 6 - huffed and puffed
Vine - 8 - three assists, some other good touches. Best game for us so far
Zoubir - 6 - some lovely skill, but drifted out the game second half
Collins -7 - ran himself into the ground again

McGivern - 2 - brutal, constantly caught out second half letting balls come into the box
Caldwell - 3 - did nothing of note
Stanton - 3 - see Caldwell

Some lovely attacking play but horrendous set piece defending.

Williams 5 - spectator mostly but missed 1 cross
Maybury 6 - shame he had to go off, did well
Nelson 5 - really shaky at set pieces
Hanlon 6 - slightly better than Nelson
Stevenson 6 - solid
Robertson 6 - stuck out wide but did ok
Craig 9 - hat-trick hero - what a player he is going to be for us
Taiwo 6 - caught in possession a couple of times, ok
Vine 7 - 3 assists, still doesn't look 100% fit
Collins 7 - deserved a goal or 2
Zoubir 7 - superb first half, different class. Hardly saw him in 2nd

McGivern - awful, needed the game 3

Williams-6. Looked shaky from crosses.

Stevenson-7. Did his job well and looked to get forward.
Hanlon-5. Number 9 was causing him problems all game.
Nelson-5. At fault for a couple of the goals.
Maybury-7. Some great balls and did his job well.

Zoubir-8. Great goal (not sure if it took a deflection or not), luxury player but can get the crowd excited.
Craig-9. Simply sublime. Worked so hard and created plenty chances and of course scored a hat trick MOTM by far.
Taiwo-7. Did his job. Even looked to get forward once in a while!
Robertson-8. Caused their left back so many problems and won a lot of aerial battles as well as creating chances.

Vine-7. Had a good game. Created 2 or 3 of the goals I think. Still looked a bit slow at times but that might go with game time.
Collins-7. Always wanted the ball and really hungry for goals. Sometimes the wrong decisions in the box (taking an extra touch etc.)

McGivern-6. Not match sharp.. poor touch
Stanton-6. Not enough time
Caldwell-6. Same

Williams-5. Lost 3 goals, not many saves to make other than that

Maybury-5. Subbed at HT

Hanlon-4. Shaky

Nelson-4. See Hanlon

Zouby-6.5. Great in patches. Quiet in others. Didn't do much second half. Was surprised to see the goal awarded to him as I thought it took a huge deflection which prevented the keeper saving it

Craig-8. Took goals well

Robertson-6. Done ok. Should have scored second half

TT-6. Mostly ok. Not his best game but didn't think he done much wrong

Vine-6. Good assists for the goals. Unlucky at times. Tried a few things that just didn't come off for him. There's a decent player in there. Needs a goal

Collins-6.5. Though he worked really hard tonight. Not much came off for him in front of goal

McGivern-4. On at HT. Not much impact. Part of a defence that lost 2 goals in 45 minutes.

Stanton. Not on long enough to give a mark. Worked hard though. I like the lad.

Caldwell. This guys attitude worries me. Not sure if he's gonna make the grade with us in all honesty. Really hope I'm wrong

Williams 5 Hesitant and struggled with crosses. Not helped by his defenders

Maybury 6 Solid and was missed when subbed. Low mark due to only playing first half
Hanlon 5 Out muscled frequently and he and Nelson looked like strangers
Nelson 5 Very poor, OG and beaten to the ball in the air and on the deck frequently by his opponent
Stevenson 7 Best of our defenders. Played pretty well on both flanks

Robertson 8 Non stop action. Some fantastic touches and always looking to be involved. Excellent
Craig 9 Played well and has to get top marks for a hatrick MOTM
Taiwo 6 Lucky not to be booked as fouled frequently. Thought he started well but distribution was very poor at times. Missed KT imo
Zoubir 7 Extra marks for sublime skill but faded badly. I'd like him to be greedier as he played it quite simply alot of the time

Vine 7 Set up three goals and best performance for Hibs. Looks slow at times but played well tonight
Collins 7 Lots of good play and link work and brought others into game well. He was choking for a goal but not to be tonight


Subs

McGivern 5 Didn't look fit to me and defence went from bad to worse when he came on. Good to see him get some game time
Stanton 5 Not much time but couple of nice touches
Caldwell 5 Made little impression but again not much time

Fenlon - We won but surprised he never took the chance to give the subs a bit more time. Stayed in his dug out for long periods which I thought was strange given the poor defending and Sammy and Ross came on without warming up first which seemed odd too

Ref 8 Kept his cards in his pocket as much as he could and tried to keep the game going.

Missed wee Lewis. 6. Usual solid stuff from him. Part of a defence that lost 3 goals to Stranraer tho. Hopefully just a blip as our defence has looked relatively strong thus far

Williams - 6 - Never had much to do and had little chance with the goals
Maybury - 7 - Looked good on the ball and solid, hopefully there for a while.
Nelson - 5 - Won some headers but looked slow on the turn and was poor defending corners.
Hanlon - 6 - Solid and good on the ground, nothing special but good performance.
Stevenson - 6 - See Hanlon.
Robertson - 6 - Worked hard and decent link up play with Maybury and Collins first half.
Taiwo - 7 - Worked hard, broke up the play and held onto the ball well.
Craig - 8 - Looked a class act and great hat-trick, great to have a goal scoring midfielder.
Zoubir - 7 - Very good first half, drifted a little in second but looks a player
Vine - 7 - 3 assists and played well, nice link up play at times. Clever player.
Collins - 8 - Great at holding ball up and bringing players into the game, could have had a couple of goals.

McGivern - 5 - Good to see him back, nothing special but game time. Not as bad as people say.
Caldwell - 3 - Never done much, always mistimes his jumps and doesn't know how to use his body.
Stanton - 3 - No time.

Williams - 5 - Dealt with any shots, suspect from set pieces


Stevenson - 7 - Solid

Hanlon - 5 - Not his usual self, couple of good runs forward with the ball though

Nelson - 4 - Performance to forget

Maybury - 6 - Solid enough, subbed at half time


Zoubir - 8 - This guy's a player, been impressed with his two substitute appearances and he looked the part tonight

Craig - 8 - Hat-trick plus a very decent performance

Taiwo - 5 - One of his poorer performances, very wasteful

Robertson - 7 - Lots of hard work

Vine - 7 - Played well, I thought, 2 assists, fair amount of running, hopefully he can build on that, will come good eventually IMO.


Collins - 7 - Lots of good running, really like him, unlucky not to score.

[BVB Hibs]

Surely Maybury deserves a higher rating here? Every ball he gave from deep ending up being seriously dangerous. Hibs looked composed in the defence for the whole of the first half (baring a set piece). The only reason he was subbed off was to save him for saturday. I thought he was overwhelmingly the best player for hibs today, and was missed massively in the second half.

The excitement around the ground when Zoubir got on the ball today was also phenomenal, a joy to watch. Faded in the second half, so the rating is probably fair in here, but he was phenonmenal in the first.

Liam Craig was good.
Zoubir was fun to watch.
Both centre halves had mingers.
Everyone else, meh.

First game since 0-7. Thought Hibs played well for most of first half. Good tempo. Plenty width. Then started fannying about at the back.

I thought Robertson was really excellent.

Williams - 5 - Had better games! But we know he's usually solid and it was quite a weird match
Maybury - 7 - Best defender before going off - thigh strain so right decision to hook him
Nelson - 4 - seem to have zero concentration. Didn't look like he had partnered Hanlon before
Hanlon - 5 - slighty better than Nelson because he did surge forward on a few occassions otherwise pretty average stuff
Stevenson - 7 - gets better every game IMO. deserves his plaudits and long may it continue.
Robertson - 7 - workmanlike again, seems maybe to be carrying an injury still but different player than last season
Taiwo - 6 - grafted hard, didnt get anything from the ref all night. he'll play better games but coped fine
Craig - 9 - hatrick hero, MOTM, possibly our best signing in a long long time
Zoubir - 7 - edge of your seat stuff on the ball - played better outwide switching with Vine. done nothing 2nd half but it'll come
Vine - 7 - First touch not the best, still doesnt seem 100% fit but set up 3 goals and should take some confidence from last night
Collins - 8 - grafter. chasing down all night, holds the ball up superbly, looking forward to him and The Heff banging them in
McGivern - 3 - sloppy and needs more game time
Caldwell - 2 - ran about. attitude is going to ruin him at Hibs
Stanton - 3 - would like to see Sam get more game time but who do you drop?
