Williams 6 -Not much to do in all honesty.
Maybury 6 - Solid enough
Nelson 7 - Poor first 20, rock solid there after
Hanlon 6 - Won his headers, easily brushed aside on occasion
Stevenson 8 - MOM, always looking to get forward
Robertson 7 - linked play well, never a RM, great flick for winner
Taiwo 7 - solid enough, sideways too often IMO. Ball retention good though
Thomson 7 - see Taiwo, minus the sideways passing!!
Collins 6 - Harsh I know but his touch was very poor today, did score the winner though!!!
Heff 7 - Looks like him n Collins will form a decent partnership, was always looking for scraps to fall his way
McPake 6 - Solid, doesn't look anywhere near ready for 90 though
Stanton 3 - only on for last few mins
Zoubir 7 - Only got 10-15 but terrorised the back line, very direct, quick feet. Lovely shimmy n cross. Looks a player !!

Heffernan MOM for me. His link up play was very good, great touch and intelligent lay offs. Can retain the ball from a throw in when he gets it to feet. Think he will be a big player for us. Although he looks bit like Pat Fenlon from a distance, needs to get a different haircut.

Delighted Collins got his goal but his overall play was lacklustre.

Zoubir to be a massive crowd pleaser.

Enjoyed today's game, particularly the 2nd half. away games are more enjoyable at the minute as the players don't seem to be as on edge.

Williams - 6 - didn't have anything to do

Maybury - 7 - solid. Was worried with him against Hasselbaink, but he used his experience to win the battle most of the game.
Hanlon - 6 - fine throughout, but looked uncomfortable when moved to LB
Nelson - 7.5 - done well against May, beating him in the air nearly every time.
Stevenson - 8 - thought the wee man was excellent until he had to go off from what looked like a red card challenge.
Thomson - 7 - solid throughout, without anything spectacular
Taiwo - 7.5 - see above but done a bit more going forward.
Robertson - 7.5 - worked hard, and created an attacking threat. Unlucky to hit the post.
Craig - 7 - see above.
Collins - 5 - poor but scored and looked more relaxed afterwards
Heffernan - 8.5 - great performance. Deserved the goal. Good link up play

McPake - 6 - done nothing wrong when he came on
Stanton - 4 - was only on for a wee while
Zoubir. - 7 - on for about 12 mins but made about 4 runs, made 2 really good chances, and has lightning feet. Very exciting

Agree with this but thought maybury was great today...handled wee hasselbaink brilliantly. ..saw on another thread someone describing him "still pretending to be a rb". Imo he is the best rb we have, bar a fully fit clancy perhaps (if there is such a thing)

Marbury 7 settled into the game
Nelson 6 rocky start then solid
Hanlon 7 play well at CH and LB
Stevenson 7 usual performance

Robbo 8 best game in a Hibs shirt
KT 6 needs to calm down a bit
Tawio 5 ran about a lot but never goes forward
Craig 6 tried but never worked for him

Stevenson 8 - My man of the match - injected a bit of urgency at times when we needed it and always looked for a pass
Robertson 6 - Below par first half - much better contribution second half
Taiwo 6 - OK - seen him play better
Craig 8 - Really strong performance. Saw plenty of the ball, creative and unlucky with one shot in first half
Thomson 6 - a bit subdued to be honest - overshadowed by Craig
Collins 6 - Was heading for a 5 until he got that goal! Tried hard but touch was poor, struggled to hold up ball and some awful passes
Heffernan 7 - Calm finish when others might have panicked. Held up the ball and linked play well.
McPake 6 - Did what was needed.
Stanton 4 - Only a few touches.
Zoubir 7 - Only on for 15 mins or so but looked tremendous. Direct, pacey, skillful - and created a couple of chances

Nelson 7 - Like Maybury started slowly but solid thereafter
Hanlon 7 - May outstrengthed him on one occasion but played well in both positions. Getting better on the ball
Stevenson 7 - May have been in contention for MOTM before poor tackle ended his game. Willing to get forward and solid in defence.
Robertson 8 - My MOTM. Constant movement, involved in Goals and got the better of his opponent at all times.
Taiwo 6 - Decent enough but we now have better
Thomson 6 - Pretty Good but knocked a mark off for him constantly getting involved.
Collins 5 - Despite the winning goal he was very poor today. Lost possesion all the time. Never gave up though.
Heff 7.5 - Toss up between him and Robertson for MOTM. Clever and sharp and could be good with Collins.

McPake 4 - Good comeback but tried to play offside when no-one else was and got caught out. Good to see him back.
Stanton 3 - Not enough time
Zoubir 7 - 10 mins but looked really good. Wanted the ball and looked exciting when he had it. He also appeared to be a tricky player who produces a good end result.

Ref - 5 - Soft bookings for us and let them away with one really poor tackle. Made a good few small errors too

Pat - I think he got nearly everything right today. It did take them to score before we pushed on but after that we played very well and created chances. We controlled the whole second half and played much higher up the park. One tiny critism would be taking Craig off when Robertson was clearly injured and actually walked towards the bench expecting to be subbed. It didn't matter as we remained in control and never looked like losing the lead once we had it.

Looking forward to next week and I would play the same side(assuming Lewis OK and McGivern still out) with the exception of Taiwo out for Zoubir and swap Robertson into the middle.

Heffernan, Robertson and Stevenson were best for us today and Heffernan edging the MOM in my view.

Robertson - 8 Why when he could hardly walk did our manager leave him on and take of Craig??
Craig - 7.5 great effort from the rebound and linked with forwards well.
Collins - 6.5 signs he will develop a good partnership with Heffernan. Obviously took confidence from scoring.
Heffernan - 8.5 great hold up play and linked well with Collins as the game wore on.

McPake - 6 1 dodgy pass with his first touch but solid performance. Would still keep Nelson and Hanlon as the main central defensive partnership.
Stanton - 4 no time to do anything.
Zoubir. - 7.5 If he keeps that up he's going to be some player for us!
