Young Cody seems to be doing well. Hopefully one for the future.

Playing left wing today. Seems more of a penalty box player though.

Hibs look far the better off the 2 teams. Playing the ball out from the back. Mayberry and McPake look world beaters st this level

Great play from Cummings to beat his man and cut in from the right to hammer past the keeper. 2-0 is more than justified. Hibs passing the ball well. Sinclair the standout for me with his willingness to take the ball in tight situations.

I'm enjoying a Hibs game. Now that's something that does not happen a lot

Looks like it, maybe getting a better look on some players from that angle

Hope the first team members are watching this on how to play proper football. These boys are a breath of fresh air compared to the way our first team plays.

That's always seemed to be the case. It's the transition from that level to 1st team where the problem seems to be.

Well yeah. Then they play against men. It's naturally a bit more open at this level.

Sounds like this week might be a bit soon for him then. I wonder what will happen when he is available again. Will Pat try to get him back in to the side straight away?

Just on another note, did he look to have a positive influence on all the young lads?

I think the Stranraer cup game may be a suitable game to get him back. I was impressed with the other young centre back, Alan Maybury!

Where was Jordan Forster tonight?

Interesting people saying the youth team play very good football and look comfortable on the ball as to me, it's the same in the first team, handling harris Forster Stanton etc all play the ball on the deck and are comfortable on it.

Personally think Forster has been unlucky to not have a chance this season alongside Hanlon as he is excellent defensively, quick and good on the ball

Glasgow girls are bang average compared to hibs. Reckon even my sisters hibs ladies development team two divisions below the prem team could beat them.

Jason Cummings got a huge endorsement from a player in my team who played against him last year when Jason was at hutchie. Said he will be a fantastic player for hibs.

What's happening with Clancy's come back? Did he do himself again if he played in the closed Rangers game?

Strange that Maybury played when Clancy requires fitness.

Possible reason for Maybury playing is that he might be required against St J if mCgivern isn't fit and Lewis goes to left back?

You are probably right. With Maybury having made it to the bench this season and Clancy not, if one game wasn't going to help Clancy that much the smart thing to do would be to put Maybury in to a competitive match.
