THE Hibs defender looks like missing Friday's World Cup qualifier against Portugal, which could lead to a call-up for Kilmarnock full-back Rory McKeown.

I really hope McGivern isn't going to turn into our latest perpetually injured defender.

he did get a knock last week. looked like he "ran it off" but maybe swelled up after? if you do get kicked on the knee, it is sair! disnae mean you are accident prone, or liable to be injured most of the season.

He could turn out to be one of those players that is unlucky and cops a few dull yins though!
Hope not.

A result of Sproule's unnecessary cropping of McGivern?

Nah there was nothing in that challenge. It was the one in the last few minutes. For what it is worth I dont think McGivern has been right since the cancelled Killie game and wouldnt be altogether surprised if he has a serious knee injury.

Someone laughed when I suggested we were hacked to bits by Ross County.

They'll no be laughing when they see our injury list. That's Handling and McGivern so far.
