I can see at least 1 red card in this game. Van Persie looks very worked up.

Why wasn't Gerrard sent off for foul and abusive language?

Man U's midfield has been non-existant so far, terrible first half from them.

This second half has not been great. Don't think I have ever seen Giggs look so poor.

:agree: And Ashley Young is a shadow of the player he was at Villa.

I can see Man Utd being busy in the market tomorrow as on this showing they will struggle to win anything with this squad.

You can see why he wants Baines, i think if he gets him he'd play him in front of Evra wide left?

Yeah I was thinking that. Otherwise it would be a pointless buy.

:agree:
I have had connections with Liverpool FC since just after WW2 with three relatives ( all Scot's )playing there
When the appointment was made many said " Rodgers - WHO ? " and he has worked hard to win support across the punters !!

As it stands , as you say , he is doing a good job !!

David Moyes says he will endeavour to bring new faces into his Manchester United squad ahead of tomorrow night's deadlines, but if no deals materialise, he has no concerns going forward - despite Sunday's 1-0 Premier League defeat at Liverpool. Moyes said: "We will try and do it, but from what I saw of the players, I'm more than happy with the players I've got. I thought they played really well, probably the best we've played this season."

If you thought that was good enough Moyes, you might as well hand the title over to your rivals. That was a very sloppy performance and what on earth can you see in Ashley Young? A pure cheat that is not good enough for United.

What a terrible Liverpool v Utd was. That's 2 so called top games I've seen (Utd v Chelsea was the other) this week, and I've far from been impressed with the standard of the English premiership

Nasty looking injury for young Townsend of Spurs there. Broken ankle or ankle ligament damage probably?

Also watching the Roma vs Verona game just now - very surreal to hear the Olympic Stadium sound so quiet since they closed the Curva Sud.

They look a very well balanced side, work well as a unit too. If only we had that at our level.

Said it on here during pre-season, but, Giroud has dropped a few lbs since last season. Quality player.

Excuse my stupidity, what's the Curva sud?

The stand where the Roma ultras sit (behind one of the two goals) - they were forced to play their first home game of the season with it closed following the Roma fans racially abusing Mario Balotteli.

Roma have torn Verona apart in the 2nd half. Their second goal was a thing of absolute beauty!

3-0.
