Passed away the day we beat Killie 2-1 at the weekend..Here was a guy that lived and breathed Hibs!..Absolute die hard and hated the tarts with a passion. The big man decided it was his time tho..God rest your soul Jimmy..Up there with some good hibby company pal.

Hibs till we die right enough. Keep looking down pal and pop into the holy grail now and again.

Forever we'll be singing to the Angels high above.

Always sad to hear of a Hibby passing away. Been far too many of these lately

Didn't know Jimmy but he was clearly a good Hibs man

RIP

The other passion for Jimmy was following the Mighty Monarchs, first at Powderhall, and then Armadale.

He was also prolific collector of Speedway and Footy programmes.

Will miss our chats at Armadale on Fridays discussing the fortunes of the Monarchs and the Hibs.

Pleasure to have known him.

Knew Jimmy more through the speedway than from Hibs matches.
Knew he wasn't in the best of health, but still got a shock reading this.
Was a good guy
RIP mate

I didn't know Jim that well, but on the few occasions we met, you could see that his passion for Hibs was second to none. He was a lovely guy and it's a real tragedy that he has been taken so young.

RIP Jim.

Just a wee update on this...Good turn out for Jimmys funeral today...Keith Wright was their in his SFA gear..Great service and he had a wreath in the shape of a Hibs top.
