I think we will witness one of Hibs smallest away supprts for a long long time this weekend.

And it won't be long before someone comes on and tells us he's happy its just the die hards that are going, and how we don't need those glory hunters. When in reality they will be missing the point completely.

Won't be as big as the one that went to the cup tie in March, but we'll still take a decent support

Wont be any smaller than Ross Co away midweek.

FWIW I think we will still take 500-600. Fans like going by cars/trains these days, so whilt bus numbers might be down, there will still be a reasonable away support.......

I'm going. I figure, by the law of averages, we have to win eventually. Don't want to miss when we do ;-)

We should get a cup every time we win, we might do the double this season. :boo hoo:

It would take some going to be lower than the 200 or so at the game just before Christmas last year, admittedly with an utterly rank kick off time followed by an equally rank game. Though going to that made me appreciate the cup game even more I think :agree:

No for me this weekend though. Can't get a childminder for all day so going to Bolton v QPR instead (out of the house for all of 3 hours as opposed to the 18 hours or so last Saturday!)

Will there not be more Hibs fans at this one than at any of the 3 ( including abandoned game ) league games there last season ? Not meaning just this thread but sometimes reading threads about predicted crowds home or away you get the impression that some fans want to see a small support just to have yet another go at manager / players / Petrie or whoever .

How dare you try to make a joke on this thread.

Footballs serious business don't you know? And you should be depressed if the team is not playing well.

I'm undecided as yet. It might even come down to what the weather is like on the day, which is pretty sad.

Off again on Saturday but really thinking hard about whether I want to go or not.

If we`d won first 3 league games , with hattricks from Collins , Vine and Craig ( picking new players and only 1 hattrick per game ) how many fans would have travelled ? I`d guess about 1000 instead of the 500 who`ll go but nothing like the number who travelled for the cup match last season .

The team needs our support at this moment so this is definitely the time to bail out on them

calumhibee1

I go to most away games, but I've not even thought about going to this one. Can't be bothered at all, even if we win I'd imagine I won't be that bothered that I missed it.

Time to support players and management whatever the result . Think Hibs should try to get other clubs like Killie to agree cheaper prices plus free food etc for away fans to make day out `part of occasion , obviously reciprocated when Killie come to the Holy Ground .

Not going, down south for the weekend. As someone said before the cup game last year was one of my fav away trips ever.

If you lot are worried about the away support and our fans are still taking part in Not A Penny More, we could be looking at the lowest attendance for a Killie v Hibs game!

The game against St Johnstone was the second lowest crowd for a league game at RP since we got promoted back to the Premier League. Doubt we will get too close to that though as there was around 200 Saints fans there

Kilmarnock is like a home game for me so I'll be there. We'll get nowhere near the support we did in the SC but I reckon we'll still have decent numbers.

Long way to travel to see your team possibly muster 1 shot on goal, 2 if we go crazy.

Killie will be happy we are up next though.

I'm not. Any time a team is struggling for performance/goals/results we seem to oblige quite willingly!

No - it's Hibs that do that!
Let us win something! :)
