Seems like the worst that could happen has actually been happening to us the last couple of years.
Just bad luck?
How long before we get an excorsist in to ER?
It truely has been a footballing nightmare.

Can it get any worse?

Sometimes you have to hit the bottom before you can start to rise again. Keep the faith, football fortunes are cyclical.

Hibs, and Fenlon, might get a break when we least expect it.

Hearts could make up the 12 point deficit on us. IMHO that would be the final indignity. This manager is more than capable of getting us relegated.

Definately!

Now is the time! It has tobe shaken up.

At the moment everything seems tobe one big joke.
Goto the only place in the world that sells a Hibs top....and they wont have your size,a manager that doesnt have a clue,a sort of chairman/account that knows heehaw about football...and has wasted a hell of alot of cash hiring and firing and an owner that yes he saved Hibs...he didnt want us too die when he could prevent it!
For Sir Tom...Im grateful!

But things need to change and they need to change fast!
How much would Hibs projected income be a month ago? What would it be realistally without change...maybe half?

Hibs get relegated, Hearts somehow survive, Scotland votes no and is ruled by a right wing Conservative government for the next 100 years

Can it get any worse?Sorry but bad luck is nothing mair than an excuse used by people at Hibs for constant failure and as long as people keep accepting that as a valid excuse that is what we will get. It isnae bad luck, it's failure, it's underachievement, it's an acceptance of mediocrity

We must be one of the 'unluckiest' clubs in the world

Don't forget a dedicated online TV channel that never works.

Whats the worst that could happen?

Hearts overturn the fifteen points we are relegated and with the Rangers in that division next season then we could be in it for a few years.

Point is, if the worst HAS been happening.
We could be playing therangers this time next year.

Relegation to the Championship, lower crowds & no real chance of a quick return as The Rangers likely to be there and will be media / bookies favs for promotion.

Much worse is Fenlon staying & RP giving him a new contract

The new manager being worse (if that's humanly possible) than his recent predecessors.

Genuinely think that would make me give up on hibs completely and follow my 2nd team. Bristol Rovers!

There are playoffs this season, it's possible that hearts and hibs could be relegated to the championship next season

How about the school kids of Tynecastle football club beating us in all 4 derbies this season (well, they won the 1st) and securing 2nd bottom spot at our expense -We, of course, secure bottom spot and relegation!

I suppose the very worst that could happen is the experience of 1990. After that, a Rangers/Hearts type collapse that threatens the club's existence. Below that, being relegated by Hearts this season would be a complete disaster. Finally, a continuation of the club's malaise and underachievement. Thankfully, the worst two scenarios aren't even on the horizon, number three is very unlikely though not impossible, scenario four is, I would like to think, somehow avoidable.

How long was Paddys contract?

It finishes at the end of this season, so not that expensive to pay him off compared to the lost gate money and reduced prize money for our lower league placing if he stays.

Lower crowds caused by Fenlon still being here would probably see the club reduce ticket prices. They wouldn't catch on to the fact that people don't want to watch rubbish performances on the park hence crowds drop each home game.

Both us and hearts get relegated. Newco join us in the first division and we get humped off both before finishing mid table.
It might not have done us much harm last time around (some might say it was actually a good thing) but 2-3 years down there now would kill us.

Hearts finish above us and we get relegated.

That would absolutely be the final straw for me.

How long are these cycles ? Just asking so I know when to expect our successful period.
