Led or Plasma

Morning folks, I am looking to buy myself a t.v this week (around 37-42 inch), just. Wondering what differences and how much difference an LED or Plasma would make? Thanks.

I've had both and the plasma has been the better of the 2 but apparently they have a habit of breaking down, although so far mine has been fine. I think the most important thing is to get a decent quality brand and do a bit of research before you buy.

My uncle got a plasma as opposed to an LED and the glare it catches is ridiculous. Apart from that I don't notice a huge a huge amount of difference.

Highly recommend getting an led tv instead of a plasma as it lasts longer.
