I was there with hibs a few years ago. We only had a couple of hundred fans but it was a ******* to get to and very expensive when we got there.

It's sore on the eyes. Needs a goal either way to liven things up.

Hartson talks a good game.

Paddy Bonner was a "boyhood" hero of mine.

Anyway - I thought McLean had been given the bullet?

He was an unlikely athlete but he rarely had a bad game.

Would agree but thought he was an excellent player for Smellic anyway

Had a fantastic time in Elfsborg a few years ago. I'm sure we were allocated in the opposite end where the weegie fans are tonight?

When we were there we got the terracing instead of the seats. The terracing appears closed for some reason?

That Liam McLeod fella isn't anywhere near as scathing about Celtic as he is about Hibs. I f******g despise that wee flump so I do. Wee blonde rat.

Probably got the worst journey they could have had but with a good chance of qualifying.

Arsenal got Fenerbahce.

Celtic face Euro test in Kazakhstan

Celtic have been drawn to play Kazakh side Shakhter Karagandy in the Champions League play-off round.

The Kazakhstan Premier League winners defeated the Belarusians BATE Borisov in the third qualifying round.

The first leg will be away at the Shakhtyor Stadium on 20 or 21 August and the second leg will be at Celtic Park on 27 or 28 August.

If Neil Lennon's men beat the team from central Asia they will progress to the Champions League group stage.

Kargandy is closer to Beijing than it is to Glasgow, it's about 4000 miles away. That will be a brutal journey.

Why are they even in the Champions League? Is it not supposed to only be teams from Europe so they shouldn't be in it

It's funny since it's happening to Celtc, but does Kazakhstan really have any business being part of UEFA?

They played in Asia from the dissolution until 2002. What changed?

It will benefit their game which is progressing at some rate, i dont see any problem with it. I'd love hibs to get a team out there or scotland. would be a great trip.

Surely the only criteria should be geography.

Glasgow is closer to Boston than it is to this place!
