It has been brought to our attention that members of the popular Hibs Fans Forums have begun to raise funds to honour the members of the Famous Five with stones in the popular East Terrace wall on the East Stand.

However, as part of the Hall of Fame Programme each inductee receives a commemorative stone to acknowledge their contribution to the club.

This includes all members of The Famous Five.

That's all true and well deserved they are too. The fund raising currently under way is for 'man in the street' fans to acknowledge the passing of these legends. I know it's not what was intended but the wording above suggests that there's no need to have more stones. The two are not mutually exclusive. The more stones to recognise these greats the better :agree:

Well said JC :aok: It's our way of showing appreciation and thanks for those wonderful players, and that we are forever grateful that they played in the famous green and white of Hibernian :flag:
