help!
away back in March I recieved a parking fine from APCOA at Livingston designer outlet or whatever its called now.
was advised by a lot of people to just ignore it as theres nothing they can do.
received a letter today from Roxburghe (debt collectors I assume) informing me it is too late to pay the initial fine and that a total charge of £118 is now due.
WTF?
can anyone shed light on this? What should I do now?
Ignore that too.
It is probably even the same folk.

Ignore it. As Jack said, they are generally the same folk. A quick Google should allay any fears.
They'll give up eventually.

Its a civil fine not a criminal one.
Would cost them more to take you to court so ignore it.
I received 2 letters after parking overnight in an Aldis a few years ago. I ignored them and never heard anything else.
What really annoyed me about the letters was the use of the word POLICE and a checkerboard pattern around the letter to scare me into paying.

Ignore it - my girlfriend got one about 2 years ago. We ignored the first, the second , then the increased charge, then the threatening court one.
Nothing since. Don't respond at all.
