How do you go about placing a special bet at the bookies, can you do it online or do you need to go into a shop. The bet I'm thinking is Man U not to win a major trophy for the next 3 years if Moyes remanis as manager. Wondering what odds i would get too

Go to the bookies they will take your money from you. IMHO stick your money on Hibs to win every week, more likely than MUFC to not win a trophy:wink:

I'm not seeing anything in Moyes that breeds confidence. I'm going to bet that he doesn't win champs league fa cup or the league before may 2016

You'd need to write to the traders for whatever bookie you go with - I doubt anyone will have prices already done for that. I can find out the address for the William Hill one when I'm in work tomorrow.

What sort of price are you expecting?

Is this the same Man Utd that p!ssed the league last year?

He's overachieved at Everton for years, but you think with the best team in the league he's got nae chance?

Man Utd for the league again this season in my opinion.

I'm not too sure off a price what would you think?

I just think without Fergie and if RVP doesn't hit the ground running they have no chance I'm just not convinced Moyes is enough for man utd the way he has been conducting himself regards fabregas has annoyed me too for some reason

With Mourinho and Pellegrini up against him there's always a chance, think everything will be close this year. I personally couldn't be bothered waiting three years to see if a bet came in. And obviously if he doesn't win anything in a couple of years he'll be sacked, so are you suggesting the bet is then void?

It's something my and my brothers had talked about they are massive Man U fans so it started as a wind up but i fancy a punt on it. If he is sacked bet is off obviously

How's it well worth a few quid to wait over 3 years to probably not get any money back and even then you don't know what the odds are?

Man United still have a strong squad - do you know that a manager only makes as much as 15% of difference to football team success? The role of a football manager in team success is well overestimated.

I could manage that Man United squad and win at least the FA Cup in 3 years

It's called gambling mate, nobody knows how Moyles will do at utd, it's all guesswork so like the lottery it's worth a few quid.
That ok? :D

Or....

Pat Fenlon is 4/1 to be the first manager to get the bullet - so is Gary Locke.

Put a tenner on each of them

I doubt he would last 3 years if he didn't win a trophy at Old Trafford in that period.

Gamble £20 to potentially gain £30?!

4/1 is a good price if that twat from Radio 1 has got the managers job.

I would guess the price will be around 100/30 - 9/2 so if you get offered 4/1 that is not a bad price.

What is bad is "investing" your hard earned for 3 years waiting on a 4/1/ return. that is too long for me :agree:.

I prefer to lose my money quicker

He won't get 3 seasons without winning anything, sacked long before that would be allowed to happen.

On a related point, Willy Hill's has 8/1 for under 0.5 goals in the derby. Do they know something we don't? A surefire 0-0, I'd say!
