Probably not however thats the team I'd go with. Happy to be proved wrong but I don't think Vine is any better than what we've already got and the two young guys deserve a chance.

I'd be tempted to start Robertson but can't see any justification for dropping KT based on last week or Taiwo for his general consistency. He's also a good option from the bench.

Is anyone out injured?

Hibernian will be without defender Ryan McGivern and midfielder Paul Cairney for the Europa League second qualifying round second leg against Malmo.

Pat Fenlon's side aim to overturn a 2-0 scoreline after losing the first leg in Sweden.

McGivern has not recovered from a knee injury, while Cairney has picked up a knock in training.

However, winger Alex Harris is fit after a thigh injury restricted him to the bench in the first leg.

Full-back Tim Clancy remains sidelined with a groin injury that troubled him last season.

Mullen McPake Hanlon Stevenson

Harris Robertson* Thomson Craig

Caldwell Vine

*SR should play IF FULLY FIT imo. Should carry more of a goal threat than TT or OTJ & that's what we need.

Time for McPake to show he's still got it & put in a solid performance. Full backs not 1st choice but in the correct positions. Vine & Caldwell... hopefully capable of a goal or 2. Don't expect Harris to play anything like 90 mins but could provide creative spark for a good start to the match. If Malmo score in the first 10 minutes it is game over & I fear it may happen. You just never know though, if we start well and get an early goal we could rattle them and maybe pull this off. GGTTH.

I don't think mullen will start tomorrow. I suspect pat will try to protect him from getting off to a bad start that could get people on his back right away. He hasn't played a competitive game since March, is inexperienced anyway and doesn't have a great rep defensively and has just crossed a city rivalry. their wideleft player looked good last week, I suspect forster might play right back.

As long as he doesn't play Lewis at right back again the guy ripped him a new one last week!

Get Caldwell up top, with Craig in behind and Vine and Harris on the wings...

Craig has played in the middle but they largely played him a little bit wider. With Thomson, Taiwo, Robertson and OTJ around for the middle of the park I think we need him a bit more in the wider areas.

Not looking to quarrel but Craig was bang in the middle of the park for Saints week in, week out, with two holding players behind (which is where all of the guys you mention are best suited). Totally agree we need more in wide areas, which is why another winger would be nice, although unlikely given financial restraints. I'm sure Craig can do a job anywhere but he's not quick (neither are Cairney, Vine or Handling - our other current wide options). He's best picking up balls on the edge of the box (centrally) or making runs beyond the centre forward. He may well end up wide left but I fear we won't be getting the best from a good player.

This. He should be our man just behind the forward(s). Wide play doesn't seem to suit his game as much as a central role where he can dictate things a bit more.

I'm starting to think I've missed something hear......not convinced why people are picking Caldwell ahead of Handling. Handling in my opinion looks a much better player and on numerous occasions last year played ahead of Ross Caldwell.

For me, Caldwell just doesn't look to have it, I do sincerely hope I'm proved wrong but if you're picking a team for this evening he'd certainly not be in it, in my opinion of course.

Whatever the team turns out to be this evenign, I'll still give them my full support!! :hibees

It's a real tricky one. If we lose a goal then we need four. Not what the fans want to hear but I'm sure Pat will be saying keep it tight and stay in the game, blah, blah.
There is sure to be an emotional charge in the air, with the tribute to Lawrie Reilly and a decent crowd. Let's hope that lifts the players right away and we can get the first goal.
Formations at this stage are moot since what we need is everyone selected playing at their best possible level, with unwavering commitment and some composure, please.
Our players with that bit extra - Williams, Thomson, Craig & Harris - will all have to shine for us to have any chance.
