I see the Hibs Lotto is to go up to £1.50 on August 1st.

The sooner the DD scheme can get of the ground the better for me.

I'll be checking - i'm sure (better be ) that the 26% is maintained so should be 39p. (its a ratio of prize money / % to cause / cost of administration)

There are some massive clubs who are participants in this so doubt they would allow themselves to get shafted

It does say -
" As a result of these changes you’ll be doing even more to support this good cause"
Why doesn't it say it's going to be a 'like-for-like' percentage-increase ?. Personally, I'm just a bit skeptical as any increase made by a business is primarily made for the benefit of the company rather than the customer. Be a good idea if the club themselves actually confirmed it.

To be fair to them, they do point out on the email that all tickets bought pre-August 1st will still be £1. So, if you were to buy, say, one draw ticket for 52 weeks for the next year, before the 1st August, it would cost you £52 and not the £78 it would if you bought it on or after August 1st.

It has made me think twice though. Have the prize amounts increased? hmmm....

A bit tired of winning half a free play every 2 months too.

Hi all,

Thanks for your comments regarding the price increase.

Just to confirm that the percentage that goes to the Hibernian Manager's Player Fund will stay at 26% or, as has been pointed out, 39p from every lotto bet placed. In other words, the increase in the amount the club receives is directly proportionate to the amount the lotto bet price increases. :scarf:

Hope that helps to clear it up.

I'm putting on £5 a week, I'd rather give the fiver to hibs directly.

What's the best way to do this?

Thanks.

I'm sure we were told at a LWT meeting that whilst lottery would be £2 in the not to distant future, Hibs lottery would remain at a £1....

Thanks. Set up a DD with Leith Links Kicks for Kids initiative - season ticket money directly to Hibs with the bonus of providing the chance to visit Easter Road for children who would not normally be able to do so.
