watching them on BBC, awful! voice all over the place. The crowd look happy though. Drink obviously working!
It's embarrassingly bad though.

A band that play music that is not my usual cup of tea. Seen them live twice though and both times they put on a superb show. The critics in the music press hate them of course, they are too busy being cool to have fun.

The ironic thing is that it's the Killers who have disappeared up their own *****. Opening at IoW with "Mr Brightside" (you don't toss away your biggest song when the crowd aren't warmed up yet), two horrific albums in a row, the inability to construct a setlist properly (since when have they become a wedding covers band?).

I liked their first album, loved their second but since then they've been, in my opinion, absolutely horrible.

Have they disappeared up their own backsides? They look like a band happy to just go out and play songs that they know their fans love and have fun. Both times I saw them I can't say I gave the construction of the set list any thought, I was too busy having fun. I have seen plenty of bands I rate much higher then the Killers disappoint live. Brandon Flowers, when he is stood in front of you, is one of the best front men around.

The Killers have largely passed me by. Dont know much of their back catalogue or what the critics are saying about their recent stuff. But I sat and watched them tonight and thought they sounded pretty poor.

Just back at my tent. They did sound a bit ****, didn't play Glamorous Indie Rock and Roll, but they finished off well and on a day I wasn't loving the lineup it was not bad at all!

Seen them the first time I was at T in the Park (2005) right after they released their first album and they were good. Great crowd response and they sounded decent live.

Since then, they've utterly passed me by as their subsequent albums were appallingly mediocre and appeased a generation who had been captured by mainstream Indie. I've seen them playing live once since 2005 and their live performance sounded like it had deteriorated too.

And snuff did a much better cover of it in 1989

Seen them in various locations in 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, and 2009. Superb every time I thought, alas they didn't come to New Zealand on their latest tour which was disappointing.

Agree albums 3 & 4 aren't as good as 1 & 2, but there are a few decent songs on both. :agree:
