Scouse fashion is streets ahead of anything you could ever dream of. :greengrin

The LFC shirt has some nostalgia attached to the design unlike the Hibs one which has no design!

Neither are as good as my Liverpool/Celtic Dalglish 7 shirt.

Too good an opportunity :greengrin

It does make you wonder if the club actually want our money. I mean, all someone designing the kit has to do is take a 20 minute read of hibs.net for a pretty good idea of what we want (and will spend our cash on), or better still take one of the brilliant mock-up designs on here and use it; they even tend to already fit the templates.

I don't mind the template, hate the colour. Will not be buying.

:faf:

If I were a Liverpool supporter I would buy this. Then leave it in a cupboard for about 10 years, then start wearing it. By then it won't be "warrior s**te," but "vintage", maybe even "classic." It looks rough now but in 10 years time LFC supporters will be falling over themselves for these. Think of pretty much any Hibs kit from the 90s.

We need one because we are in the Europa League.

Thems the rules.
Not according to the official site

The kit is completed with black shorts and socks - a classic look for the Hibees to wear on our travels - starting with our Europa League second round qualifying tie later on in July

We won't necessarily be wearing the third kit - we just need to have one in case we need. As PB says, it's the :rules:

Is there buttons underneath the white part allowing it to wear opened up/closed?

Yep, two buttons to allow the collar to be fastened.

I don't think we'll need a third kit will we? We won't clash with anyone except Celtic and we can wear the black kit there?

We've had a third kit for a good few years already. Even if it wasn't in the rules the club would still try and cash in. Why would they change now .

Saw the top in the shop today, really like it, different material to the home top. I've held off buying any strip so far seeing as they are not doing female sizes!! :no way:

Are people really gonna buy something that looks like their granny's (or in Johnnyboy's case, his daughter's) old nightshirt?

I quite like it but as a grown man wouldn't be seen wearing a replica top.

Saw both in person for the first time at Starks Park last night and the away one impressed me more. Very classic looking. I reckon I'll still get both but the black one is lovely.

I bought one of these instead, not too shabby for £30, decent material too.

Yeah that's not bad, just back from Ibiza and the number of scots wandering around wearing tops was embarrassing although they were mostly Huns

Just noticed that in the online shop, the junior away top has the Crabbies logos. Is that right (would seem strange, since the home junior kit doesn't have the naughty alcohol on it), or have they just used the wrong picture?

Wouldn't be surprised. Most of the replica & apparal catalogue looks photoshopped. If I remember correctly the sponsor on the kids shirts is meant to be this

Obviously without the "Traditional Cloudy Ginger Beer", this is the only version of the logo I could find with the John bit on it

They used that the first year we had Crabbies, but this year the home junior top definitely has no sponsor (as shown in the online shop (http://www.hibernianclubstore.co.uk/imagegen.ashx?image=/content/images/thumbs/0001244_ss-home-jsy-13-14-junior.jpeg&width=308&constrain=false)). I think it was the same last year. Probably just the wrong picture.

heard the guy in club shop saying to a customer that It's now actually illegal to have such advertising on youth products.

It's not that template, it has something that strip doesn't but can't really say much more!

The Hibs badge ;-)

Yes, total agreement. Don't know how my daughter is expected to wear an all black top. Sure she can wear the traditional strip, which I think looks good but the black is a total fashion disaster. The girl in the shop, who didn't seem to understand that there should be a better range of girls / ladies gear, said that in contrast to Puma, Nike didn't do ladies sizes either. What a stuff up of an opportunity to sell more shirts. My daughter had to buy an autograph book and mouse mat instead.

I think a lot of people forget that football strips are made and designed to actually PLAY football in!!

Its not a fashion show.

If we had players that couldnt get into XXL sizes and needed a larger size then I think a few people would have something to say about it!

Sorry for being a pedant but its a replica jersey not an official match jersey. No reason why you shouldn't be able to get one though. Noticed at last world cup the official match jersey was around £80 as opposed to £40-£50 for the replica.
